Assemblage Project, an upmarket women’s fashion boutique, carries top-quality design labels from Australia and New Zealand. Inspired by New Zealand designers, owner Karen Lee is—for the first time—presenting three labels in a curated show at FASHFEST 2017. The three New Zealand labels are Kowtow, a label for independent women who don’t compromise on style and ethics. Quintessential Kowtow is comfortable and well cut, sustainable and ethical. Senorita AweSUMO’s designs empower ethical and conscious consumers with unique, environmental fashion. Upcycled garments save materials from being discarded into landfill. The AUNTY label offers garments that are all individually cut and sewn, many are one-off designs. The label’s strength is in its colour and variety. All labels will be available for purchase at a special exhibition Assemblage Project will host after FASHFEST.
NZ by AP will be showcasing on Friday night show 1, at 7:00pm.
