Ever since she can remember, Rachel Jane Eager has had a heart for all things fashion. Her childhood was full of tea parties, styling up dresses and reading Alice in Wonderland. So it’s no surprise that her independent label, Little Jane Lane, focuses on tea party fashion for young women searching to escape reality.
In her debut appearance at FASHFEST, Rachel Jane’s graduating collection celebrates elegant, whimsical and feminine tea party attire.
Little Jane Lane designs for women, aged 22 to 35, who lead busy working lives and who want to abandon their formal business attire on weekends when socialising with friends. All garments, high quality and price competitive, are designed, pattern made and sewn by Rachel Jane. Collections may also include hats, gloves and other accessories.
The label is environmentally aware and produces all garments with minimal wastage. All material cut offs are donated to the Global Sisters, an organisation that helps women experiencing socio-economic disadvantage to become financially independent through sustainable self-employment.
Rachel Jane graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Fashion Design), from the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) in 2014.
