The creative fashion designer behind the upcoming men’s fashion label Perpetually Five is Mitchell (Mitch) Thompson who believes young creative minds are the driving force of today’s men’s fashion.
Perpetually Five is on trend with the move of men’s fashion away from the traditional uniform to something new and vibrant. This label gives men the opportunity to express personality through fashion. This is Perpetually Five’s second year on the runaway at FASHFEST.
Mitch believes a child’s imagination is more than make-believe. It is a source of endless possibilities and so Perpetually Five incorporates children’s drawings into pattern pieces and fabric design. The child-like attitude is an important part of its philosophy and enables the label to build a bridge between fun and smart, dressy and casual.
Perpetually Five is a creative, yet sophisticated line of menswear. In 2014, Mitch will branch out and introduce a collection of women’s wear.
Mitchell has lived in Canberra for almost 20 years and graduated with a bachelor of design (Fashion Design) at the Canberra Institute of Technology in 2012.
Perpetually Five is locally manufactured in Canberra providing limited stock to their consumer.
