Launched in 2007, multiple award-winning Pure Pod is an Australian pioneer eco fashion label founded by Kelli Donovan and her partner and lifestyle photographer Sean Watson. This is Pure Pod’s second appearance at Fashfest.
Pure Pod collections are described as chic, contemporary and stylish, with an urban influence. The label targets women in the 30+ market.
Pure Pod—100% Australian designed and made—uses ethical and eco credentials as much as possible to produce garments from farm through to finished product. The company creates beautiful collections with unique and high-quality eco and sustainable textiles made with sustainable fibres, hand-printed eco inks, natural fibres grown without pesticides and chemicals, and natural dyes and trims made from bamboo, coconut, nuts and wood. All garments are made in Australia.
In less than 6 years since its launch, Pure Pod has become one of the largest dedicated, ethical fashion brands in Australia, with clients also in Canada, New Zealand, Nigeria, South East Asia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Pure Pod has received much acclaim for its fashion creations. The company has shown its brand at G’Day USA. It was chosen to showcase at Hong Kong Intersoff Textiles show and Eco Fashion Week in Vancouver. In addition, Pure Pod has won many awards, including ‘Best Eco Designer Product’ (2014). The company has been selected to be in the ‘500 Fellowship Members’, Ethical Fashion Forum (United Kingdom). It was also a finalist in the Canberra Business Awards in the Eco Business section.
Pure Pod’s philosophy is: Be AWARE of what you WEAR.
